Carmen was born in 1987 in Grottaglie, Italy.
In 2010, she got a degree at the Art School in Lecce. Always attracted by visual arts, she was devoted to painting, but made an early focusing exclusively on photography. After the Erasmus exchange program in the Eastern Europe, she moved to Milan to attend the Advanced Course in Professional Italian Institute of Photography (IIF).
Through the self-portrait, the experimentation, and the dark room work, she approached a study related to colour and shapes that become peculiarity and the main theme of her work.
Her photography is characterized by creating spaces in which to invent stories. she defines these in still life form but it would be an understatement.
